Viticulture in Israel is a modern industry based on ancient traditions. And wine has been a part of the Jewish religion and ritual from biblical times to the present. Throughout the country’s five wine regions small grapes are beginning to be seen on the vine and the dry warm weather will hopefully make this another vintage year. The vineyard shown is part of the Gush Etzion winery.
