The Jaffo Light is a lighthouse built in the old port of Jaffo by French engineers in 1865. It was built to enable the expansion of the port to accommodate the export of citrus fruit known as “Jaffo oranges”. The lighthouse was shutdown in 1966 when Jaffo became a small craft port.
