Men wearing white kurtas (caps) are a common sight in Mumbai. Some 5,000 men distribute over 200,000 meals a day picking up lunches from private homes and delivering them to the office workers, and then picking up the the empty containers and returning them to the homes so they can be used the next day. Their efficiency has been made into case studies by many business schools around the world.
