NORTHERN LIGHTS ON THE HORIZON

One of the main reasons to travel to Lapland in the winter is the possibility of catching a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). During our stay only one night met the criteria for seeing this phenomenon and even though the lights only appeared on the horizon rather than overhead the few hours we waited in the cold was worth the show.
