Between Siena & the vineyards of Chianti
Colle val d’Elsa is a quaint hilltop town in the province of Siena adjacent to the renowned Chianti territory. Due to its position – close to both Florence and Siena – Colle Val d’Elsa has always been the object of ancient rivalry. However today tourism seems to have bypassed the town allowing it to retain the tranquility that this area of Italy has been known for.
