Every Friday afternoon and the day before each holiday almost every street corner in Israel has a temporary kiosk selling freshly picked flowers to adorn the home. In Kfar Haim, a moshav in the center of the country, an entire industry has been created where a wide variety of flowers are grown, picked daily, wrapped in an assembly-line type production facility and then shipped country-wide.
