IT’S NOT ALWAYS THE PICTURE
Sometimes, no matter how good the opportunity might seem, the result hoped for doesn’t materialize, but the outcome couldn’t be better.
Early this morning the night sky was lit up with streaking remnants of the Perseid Meteor Shower. All my preparation and with my camera set up to capture just the image I wanted nothing of significance materialized. Except – the excitement of my grandchildren everytime they saw a streak in the sky. Lying flat on their backs an entire new world opened to them. This to me was much more important than a few streaks etched into my camera’s digital memory.
